We're only 7 days away from Cabin time people! Start packing your swimsuits, sunscreen, and extra watershoes now or you might forget them (seriously... go grab them now so you don't forget. I don't want us making any more trips to Walmart than we have to). With only a week left before we all finally get together again, I thought I'd remind everyone to have a great couple of days before Cabin Fun '08 kicks off.
On a somewhat related note, I thought you'd like to know that I finally took the video of Christmas dinner (remember how I set up my camera and filmed us eating? Yeah, that video- it was 30+ minutes long) and condensed it into a nice 3.5 minute homage to good food and really fast eaters. I'll try to get that video up here this week so you guys can enjoy watching everyone eat really, really fast.

Dianne and I spent an evening on Lake Minnetonka with other members of the Classic Boat Club. One member grew up in the Wisconsin town that manufactured Thompson's. He's organizer of the annual Thompson Classic Boat Rally.
He enjoyed looking over the boat. Said he's seen a lot of "Sea Lancers" (he owns 10 Thompson's) but has rarely seen a "Sea Lancer Express" (such as Little Audrey). He also taught us a few things we did not know... According to the Hull Stamp, the boat was manufactured in 1962 (not '64 as previously thought). 
The recent hail storm pounded her deck. This winter I'll be getting it into the garage, replacing the deck and giving it a good-going-over. I've not had that opportunity since we've owned it. The last 2 winters I've worked out of town. I'm looking forward to Dave and I bringing it back up to par here at The Cameron Boat Works, The Port of Rochester, MN.
